Säästää is currently working towards a state-wide certification in Tracking through Homeland K-9, which will require her to be evaluated by a local Sheriff's department for her suitability and performance.
We are anxious to see her achieve this important milestone in her career, for which she has been working hard over the last year. Good luck, Säästää, and keep your head down! ;-)
Soon after receiving state certification, we are all anticipating the start of the training process towards a FEMA certification. This is what started the original search for Säästää, shortly after hurricane Katrina that devestated many of the gulf coast states.
When Säästää achieves this goal, there's going to be a BIG party around here with her fellow students and friends.
